How we are paid

Our help is free to you, and you never pay us anything. We are paid a referral fee by the FCA-authorised firm we introduce you to, and only if the adviser goes on to set up a solution for you. The fee is a different amount depending on which solution that is.

We take no part in deciding which solution is right for you. That is worked out between you and the adviser. If the solution itself has any cost to you, the firm will explain it before you agree to anything. You are also free to go straight to a free service such as StepChange or MoneyHelper instead, at any point.

3. User Responsibilities

When using our services, you agree to:

Complaints, and what you are not covered by

Because we are not authorised by the FCA, we are not covered by the Financial Ombudsman Service or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. The FCA-authorised firm we introduce you to has its own complaints process, and you can take a complaint about their advice to the Financial Ombudsman.

If you are unhappy with anything we have done, email us at info@halaldebtsolutions.co.uk. We will acknowledge it within two working days and give you a full reply within fourteen days. If your complaint is about how we have handled your information, you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
